The Caregiver at Wounded Knee was a moving, honest historical story. The author does a fantastic job honoring the tragedy at Wounded Knee. It was an honor to read this book as the anniversary date of the massacre approaches. Amidst the horror of this massacre, caused by misunderstandings and vengeance between the Lakota and settlers, Debby Lee weaves a wonderful, soft love story and themes of healing, forgiveness, and grace. As the light of Christ is a stark contrast to the darkness in the world, it was beautifully shown through this story!
I received a copy from NetGalley to honestly review. All opinions are my own.

This was such a unique regency romance! I loved that it was set at a countryside estate and the heroine had a rather unusual “profession.” I loved the strong faith storyline and growth in characters. I did feel like the plot twist ending was not as unique as I hoped for, but it was still a satisfying book!

My Review: I really enjoyed the first in the Ink and Blood Series. Ann M. Freyer does an amazing job weaving fantasy, faith, and romance together! I loved the parallels to the scribe’s purpose in the Bible, and the scripture references throughout! The plot is engaging and unexpected, with several notes of suspense throughout! The

I flew through reading this book! Light to my Path by Erica Vetsch is one of my favorite authors! This book had a unique plot- Sam Mackenzie (brother of David in book one) does a favor to his aunt to watch over Ellie and the orphans she is traveling with. The children were my absolute favorite!! I think Phin has his own book or novella in one of the other books in this series. Vetsch’s plots are always well written, characters are dynamic, and the romance is super sweet and focuses on the friendship. I loved that we go to see Sam’s brother, David and Karen in this book as well. I liked Sam’s character in book one, so it was so fun to see his story!
